The project for this semester is to create an application that provides location-based services. Our application will allow users to specify their current location and view the locations of their friends. Users will also be able to read and write notes assigned to particular locations. We will also implement a location-based service of your own choosing. Because users will want to access our services away from their desk, we will implement both desktop and personal digital assistant (PDA) versions of your services. Our application must be sufficiently well-designed to allow you to easily migrate it between platforms.
